Hi, I'm Lisa
A newborn and family photographer based in Barton-under-Needwood, photographing families across Lichfield, Burton upon Trent, Tamworth, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Swadlincote and the surrounding areas of Staffordshire and Derbyshire.
Originally from Sutton Coldfield, I've always loved documenting family life and the moments that often pass by unnoticed. After becoming a mum myself, that appreciation grew even deeper.
My love for newborn photography began with my own daughters. I found myself constantly reaching for my camera to capture the tiny details, sleepy expressions and everyday moments that felt so ordinary at the time, but now mean everything. Those early weeks pass in a blur, and I know first-hand how important it is to preserve them before they become memories.
WHY LIFESTYLE NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
My sessions take place in the comfort of your own home, where everyone feels most relaxed. Using natural light and a gentle approach, I capture the connections, emotions and little details that make your family's story unique.
Whether you're welcoming your first baby or your fourth, I'll guide you throughout the session so you never feel awkward or rushed. There is plenty of time for cuddles, feeds, snacks and breaks, allowing genuine moments to unfold naturally.
For newborns, that might look like soft snuggles on the sofa and tiny details you'll want to remember forever. For families, it might be laughter, movement and children simply being themselves.
My goal is always the same: to create timeless photographs that feel honest, meaningful and full of the people you love most.
Of all the hats I’ve worn, being a mum is my greatest joy. Those early weeks, a blur of love, exhaustion, feeding, and firsts, are so tender and transformative. I know how quickly it all passes, and how precious it is to hold onto those memories.
Now, as my eldest moves on to her next chapter, secondary school, I cherish the moments we froze in photographs all the more.
